Association of Refrigerant Manufacturers, Suppliers and Consumers

Bringing refrigerant market participants together
to advance common interests

APPPH is a platform for developing joint solutions that address the interests of consumers, suppliers and manufacturers of refrigerants and related chemical products.

We bring together industry expertise and analytics to develop proposals for market regulation and identify priorities for the development of Russia’s chemical science and manufacturing.

01 / About the Association

Bringing together
refrigerant market participants

Our goal is to create conditions for reliable supply, fair competition and balanced market pricing, taking into account the interests of manufacturers, suppliers and consumers.

Common
interests

Manufacturers

Development of Russia’s chemical science, technologies and manufacturing. Proposals to support research and the production of advanced products for Russian consumers, taking into account leading international developments.

Suppliers

Support for qualified suppliers, development of clear and predictable rules, and measures to combat counterfeit products, illicit trade and unfair competition.

Consumers

Access to quality products at reasonable prices. As the availability of refrigerants declines, we develop solutions for introducing blends based on fourth-generation refrigerants that do not require significant capital investment in equipment replacement or retrofitting.

02 / Importance to the Economy

Refrigerants are a strategic resource

Refrigerants and related chemical products are essential to the operation of critical infrastructure.

Food and Logistics

Production, cooling, storage and transportation of food products.

Fire Suppression

Gaseous fire suppression for protecting equipment, cultural assets, storage facilities, server rooms and other sites where the use of water is unsuitable.

Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals

Storage of medicines, vaccines, blood and other biological materials, as well as operation of medical and laboratory equipment.

High-Tech Manufacturing

Process cooling for equipment and manufacturing operations in electronics, microelectronics and other high-tech industries.

IT and Data Centers

Cooling of data centers, server infrastructure and high-performance computing systems.

Refrigeration and Climate Control

Industrial and commercial refrigeration, air conditioning for buildings and transport, and operation of heat pumps.

03 / Areas of Work

What We Work On

We bring together chemical and technological expertise from different industries to develop solutions for market regulation and the advancement of Russia’s chemical science and manufacturing.

Market Regulation

Proposals for clear rules and quota allocation that take into account consumer needs and supplier capabilities. Development of a coordinated industry position for government authorities.

Russian Chemical Science and Manufacturing

Bringing experts together to develop evidence-based proposals for advancing Russian technologies and production chains, from raw materials to fourth-generation refrigerants, blends and related chemical products.

Competition and Quality

Proposals to combat counterfeiting and illicit trade in refrigerants and related chemical products in order to ensure product quality and protect consumers and responsible suppliers.

Analytics and Preparation for Change

Assessment of industry demand and shortage risks as permitted HFC consumption is reduced. Development of solutions to ensure timely equipment servicing and reduce the risk of downtime and failures.
